Int-Liege/B, last show for the Summer break

Liege/B is a permanent part on our yearly Show planner. There are almost always interesting judges and it is on only 45 minutes distance from us. Fot our two breeds there where two new judges. Mister Brankovic, from Serbia, for the OES and Mr. Nagel, from France, for the Bearded Collies. Reasons enough to participate with three dogs. That, of course, also brings a lot of work with it to wash and brush three dogs. But, no one forced me to do so. The weather was simply gorgeous, in fact to nice to be in a hall, but it was worth all of it. Mr. Brankovic judged in a very fast tempo. Later he said, that he doesn’t need much time to recognize a Top Dog….. Let’s leave that for what it is worth. Harry had to show “King”. He was alone in the Intermediate Class. At the same time, I was in the Beardie ring with Lasse. For the CACIB, I could show him and won over the males from the Champion and Open Class. Shortly after this, it was Jadore’s turn to go into the ring and she won over a competitor out of the Champion Class. Now I had to go back into the Beardie ring. Thank to Pascal Kuijpers, who handled King and Claire Tibbe who handled Jadore as they had to go for Best Of Breed. Pascale won with King, who, due to this, became Best Of Breed.

After this, a long time of waiting started until the groups and other matches could be judged. Around 17.00 hrs it finally started. Mrs. Zuga from Latvia judged Group 1. She is someone completely new to me. “King” did a perfect job and show his long reaching movement and convinced Mrs. Zuga. She placed him 1st on the podium.

Our Showteam, King, Doro and Lasse,  will enjoy a well deserved Summer Break until the end of August.
