Exhibitions March 2024

It’s 316 kilometres from Maaseik to Groningen in the far north of the Netherlands and back again, of course. I didn’t really feel like doing this long trip, I was a bit tired of travelling long distances to exhibitions. BUT…… Lilianne Friederich had registered “Skipper”, so I had to get up and go. Of course I don’t leave at 3.30am if I want to be at the hall at 7am. Hence the luxury of a hotel. Lilianne and I had a lot of fun on our trip.

For “Skipper” (Udo Jürgens aus dem  Elbe-Urstromtal) it was the first time with a hotel, lift and long journey.

It was very good that we travelled. The judge Mr M. Draganescu/RO is a well-known arrround judge. He had registered 9 OES, 3 males and 6 females. Of these, 1 male in the champion class was missing. In the intermediate class 1 bitch, 1 open and 4!!!! Bitches in the champion class.

Everything went well: “Udo Jürgens aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” became Best Male and Best of Breed

Gerda Jolink needed the last point for the Dutch Champion for her “Ch. Ultra Chic aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal”. I was allowed to take on this task and won the Res- CACIB and Res- CAC. So “Ziva” had the point for the title.

BUT…. our day wasn’t finished yet. Group 1 was judged by the famous Portuguese all-rounder Mr Homen de Mello. He was impressed by “Skipper” and rewarded us with 3rd place. What a great day.

The remaining impressions of the day.

“Tilli” aka “West Side Story aus dem  Elbe-Urstromtal” is at home with her mum “Ziva” and Martina Weissmann in Saarland. It was time for the first show. It had to be Bronhagen/GER. A CAC show took place there on Saturday, judged by Mr Nölke, and the DOESC Club Winner Show on Sunday. This was judged by the Englishman Mr Mills from the Kerjalee OES.

Big adventure for “Tilli”: all alone, with Martina in the hotel and a long journey. Tilli” mastered this with flying colours.

On both days she was Best Puppy of the show and was highly praised by the judges.

It was all very exhausting. At the hotel, “Tilli” quickly hid under the bed and slept soundly.

A CACIB show was held in Modena, Italy on Saturday on March 16th and 17th, 2024. On Sunday March 17th, 2024 there was also a CACIB show, but that was a so-called RADUNO, i.e. a special show from the club. You have to win this to win the Italian championship.

Angelika Bardelli was there on both days with her young champion  “Verliebt vom Elbe-Urstromtal”.

The judge on Saturday was Mr. I. Ingraffia/Italy. He makes Luana Excellent 1, CACIB, CAC and Best of Breed

The judge on Sunday was the Italian Mr. Gatti, who again won CACIB, CAC and Best Female.

“Emily” had her first two exhibitions in the puppy class in distant Costa Rica. The exhibition took place in San Jose. “White Socks aus dem  Elbe-Urstromtal” is owned by Silvia Api Costa and she is of course very proud of her “Emily”. We got a few short videos that I put together here.

March ends with the hard-working exhibitor Ms. A. Bardelli from Switzerland. She regularly travels to beautiful Italy with her 21-month-old “Ch. Verliebt aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal”.

On the penultimate weekend in March there were two CAC shows and two CACIB shows in San Marino, which is actually Italy.

At all 4 shows “Luana” became best of the breed with CACIB and CAC.

In between, “Luana” had a lot of fun on the beach in Rimini

On Easter Sunday there was an international exhibition in Verona. The judge was the Italian Mr. Sambucco.

Ch. “Verliebt aus dem  Elbe-Urstromtal” won the CAC, CACIB and was best of the breed. With this CAC she has fulfilled all the conditions for the Italian Champion at just 21 months old. This is her 4th championship at this young age. respect
