Euro OES Show Pilzen/CZ 2011

In order to get to the Euro OES Show in Pilzen /CZ, we travelled 1460 km. During our stay we had lots of fun, saw many acquaintances and good friends. Our Daisy was so nice, to homesit our puppies, dogs and house during our 4 day absence.Without her we could not have travelled. Thanks again for the good work over the last couple of years. In Pilzen we had 2 wonderful days. Saturday we had a tour through the famous brewery of Pilzen. At night we attended an informel dinner, were lots of fun was already made. Sundaymoring, the showday and  also my birthday, it was raining cats and dogs. And the show was outdoors! HELP!!!!! I thought I better stay in bed, but the man who takes care of the water coming from heaven, showed compassion and around 10.00 hrs it stopped raining. By lunchtime it was sunny and warm. Our good old friend Matteo came all the way from Calabria /Italy with Ch. Helado aus dem Elbe-Urstromal, who became 5th in the championsclass. Our own “Socke” (Ch. Himmlisch aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal) won a 4th place. Matteo’s “Hinga” (Hot Pants aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal) got an Excellent in the openclass and his “Alcapone” (Ch. Zeppeline Alcapone),  whom I showed for the last time, also won a 4th place in championclass. Denisa and Tomas’ Hot ‘n Spicy aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal received an excellent. 150 OES from 24 nations were present. Judges were Angie Burrows-Allan and Babs Gillatt.

Highlight of the day was the victory of the breedergroup “Aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal”. Honouring my birthday the audience gave me a serenade.

A silent victory for our kennel were the BOB and BOS dogs. BOB “Bottomshaker my Secret” is a son of the late “Ch. Zecret Zorro aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” and the BOS bitch “Argovian’s Hugs’n Kisses” is the daughter of our Ch. “Eldorado aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal”. We are very proud at our studdogs and gratulate the winners once more with their victories.

The show was closed with a Galadinner and  a performance a la Danmark, just beautiful! We danced and made fun until after midnight. It was wonderful.
