Exhibitions March 2023

On the weekend of 11/12- March 2023, 4 shows were performed in one weekend in Guatemala.

Angelika Cordova successfully exhibited her “Aramis”. He was able to win 1 x Best of Breed and 3 x Best of opposite sex from the 4 different judges. He now owns the titles: Intercontinental Champion and Guatemala Junior Champion. “Aramis” also achieved excellent placements in group 1 as well as in group 1 of the junior dogs.

The famous CRUFTS exhibition took place on Friday 10.3.2023 in Birmingham/GB. “Aramis” littermate “Louis” was shown by his owner Tracy Gould for the very first time in junior class. He did great, but at only 12 months it’s very difficult to place with strong and older competition. Nevertheless we are very proud.

“Obsession aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal“owned by dr. Ann Hodgenson/UK was shown in the big open class. She is now 7 years old and still in great condition. Unfortunately I don’t have a photo.

18-3-2023 IDS Bleiswijk/NL, Judge Maikel Koot/NL. My big goal after I got my new knee on December 19th, 2022: to exhibit here. It has been possible!!!! The old circus horse needed the manganese smell… I could run the triangle in the ring with “Cloe” but Kinga, her owner has to take over for the faster pace. But that didn’t matter, it felt great to be back at a show.

I took the full weekend…. on Sunday 19-3-2023 there was also an international show in Weelde/Belgium. Here the breed specialist Mr. Leif Ragnar Hjorth from Norway judged. Like the day before, I was able to do the triangle again and run up and down, then Kinga came into the ring for the final sprint.

We were judged at 10.30am and had to wait until 4.30pm for Group 1 to be judged. That was done by Mr. D. Spruyt from Belgium, he doesn’t like me and my dogs at all. He also had no appreciation for the beautiful Bearded Collie from our breed. Chris Beirendonk, my dear friend, put “Cloe” in the main ring and did a great job.

The long wait was sweetened with real Belgian fries with mayo

On March 19th, 2023 “Vivian Westwood aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” made her appearance in Premstätten/Austria in the youth class. She is the litter sister to “Vuitton” and “Van Cleef”. The Laminger family are the proud owners. “Vivian” received Excellent 1 and the Junior CAC.
