Exhibitions in October

On October 1st, 2023 a CACIB exhibition took place in the far north of Germany, in Rostock. The judge was Dagmar Klein from Romania. There were 10 OES present, including 4 males in the champion class. An impressive number, one of them was Gesa Milde with her Ch. “Pulverfass aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal”.

Gesa did well with her “Uffe” and came 2nd in the champion class with Res-CACIB and Res-CAC.

After I saw this photo, I checked the breed standard again to see what the OES should look like. It still says square dog. Thought maybe that had changed and I didn’t notice.

General appearance: Strong, square-looking dog, very symmetrical, showing health and performance. Definitely not high-legged, abundantly haired everywhere. A stocky, muscular, robust dog with a highly intelligent expression.”

Ms. Angelika Bardelli was traveling with her “Luana” in Italy. She was at the double show in Mondovi. On Saturday, September 30th “Verliebt aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” became best of the breed with CAC, the judge was Mr. P. Paola/IT

On October 1st, 2023 at the CACIB Show in Mondovi she also won Best of Breed with CACIB, CAC, just 15 months old. The crowning achievement was the victory in Group 1. With an excellent dog, you can achieve such victories. The judge was Ms. A. Ingram/IE and the group was judged by Mr. Jouanchiot from France.

I only have 1 photo that is without copyright. Ms. Bardelli no longer wants me to publish photos of her dog from my breeding. Understand that, whoever wants, such a kindergarten! Ms. Bardelli presents my breeding at every exhibition. Then I wouldn’t show the dog anymore.

On October 1st, 2023 at the Raduno of the Italian OES Club, “Verliebt aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” won an excellent 2nd place under Mr. Claude Ritter. All photos are on Ms. Bardelli’s Facebook account. It could also be that she has blocked everyone who is in contact with me. As I said… kindergarten

Mrs. Laminger was with her “Vivian Westwood aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” on 2.10.2023 at the International Dog Show in Vienna /Austria, judge for the 2 present OES was Mrs. B. Kremser also from Austria. “Vivian” was awarded Excellent 1 with CAC in the intermediate class and also received the Res- CACIB.

On the 1st place Mrs. Singer with her bitch “Encant Let it be Lolita” on the Res- place Mrs. Laminger with “Vivian Westwood aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” 18 months old

on 3.9.2023 they were also registered at the special breeding show of the Club for British Sheepdogs in Neustadt/Österreich. There Mrs. Posacher/Österr. judged – ” Vivian” won the CAC and Best of Breed.

By chance I saw that Ms. Bardelli was at the 3 exhibitions in Vrtojba/Slovenia. These took place on October 7th/8th, 2023. Her dog Multi  Juniorch. ” Verliebt aus dem  Elbe Urstromtal” won at all 3 exhibitions the CAC from the intermediate class. She fulfills all the requirements for the title of “Slovenian Champion” at just 15 months old.

If anyone has a photo without Ms. Bardelli’s copyright, please email it to me and ask Ms. Bardelli what this farce is about.

On Sunday October 15th, 2023 the annual Championship Clubshow of the Belgian OES Club took place in Vorselar/Belgium. My dear Chris van Beirendonk has been president of the club for 23 years and rocks this show with her husband Jan. Claire, Lilianne, Francien and their husband are hard-working helpers. It’s great what a cozy show they put on. Beautiful hall and a well-stocked tombola. This year 25 OES were registered for judge Billy Moore from England. He was a breeder and exhibitor of our breed himself.

Our “Uschi” made an impression on Mr. Moore and won BEST IN SHOW “Uschi Glas aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” at 28 months.

Our last exhibition in October was great. It also has to be when you have to get up at 3:30 in the morning, because the puppies have to have their bottle before you leave at 5:15. The journey to Bleiswijk in the Netherlands takes 2 hours. With 3 dogs in your car you have to be there on time. In addition to Caro and Uschi, we also had  “Cap” with us. He is a beautiful Bearded Collie that we got from the USA 2 years ago and that I promised to show. Its owners were away on business. “Cap” was in the ring right at 9:30. At 10 a.m. our “Caro” was in the ring. 3 females in the youth class out of a total of 11 registered OES, including 3 males in the champion class. “Uschi” was alone in the champion class. For the Best Female competition, Paul had to step in and compete with “Caro” against the intermediate and open classes. I was also there with Uschi from the champion class. The judge was Ms. Anne Buvik from Norway. She loved our dogs and told me after judging that my dog was the highlight of her day.

“Uschi Glas aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” won Best Female and “Vorbildlich aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” became 2nd Beste Female from the Youth class. That was a great victory

“Uschi” won best of breed over Inge van Engelen with “Ch. Airzeppeline Hercules Junior of Mat’n Nik”. Res- Best male, also from the youth class, was the son of Uschi’s brother”Udo Jürgens aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal”.

That was not all. It should get even better. In the Ring of Honor in Group 1 with many top dogs, “Uschi” won 3rd place. The judge was Mrs June Wall from Ireland.

We were back home at 7:30 p.m., very satisfied and happy but also VERY tired.
