a quiet weekend
We were off, but that doesn’t mean that we had nothing to do in the dogworld. While Harry was acting as General Manager at home, I was at a symposium at the University of Gent/B about fertility, genetics, influences from outside etc., etc. Very interesting and informative.
On Sunday, our dear friend Matteo went to the Raduno (Specialty organized by the Italian Bobtail Club) and was very succesful. The surrounding area where the show took place is at the Garda Lake. This made judging a lot more comfortable.
Mrs. Michaela Hall judged, but I don’t know her Kennelname. The only thing I know is that she once had a dog from the Di Zuccero kennel from Italy and now has Lhasa Apso.
Matteo even had bought a new suit and brushed and groomed the whole day before the show. He had 6 or 7 dogs waiting for his final touch.
But it wasn‘t useless what he had done.
“Just for me aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal”, who finally was shown for the first time, won the Intermediate Class en got the Res-CAC.
“Hotpants aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal”, with her perfect movement, won the Open Class with CAC.
and her beautiful movement
And then our beautiful “Ukkie” (Ch. Helado aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal). she became 2nd in the Champion Class behind a „Di Zuccero“ bitch.
Matteo also had registered dogs from his last litter. 2 jong bitches from the AirZeppelin Kennel, out off a combination of Ch. Zeppeline Al Capone und Ch. Boheme aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal, gained the 1st and 2nd place in the Intermediate class
