1200 km Maaseik-Luxemburg-Stuttgart- Maaseik,

This was a weekend! Too many shows an we had to take a decision. Because „Jadore“already had 2 CAC’s in the Netherlands we decided to try it with her at the CACIB in Luxemburg. Well, if you are in Luxemburg you can easily drive the small route of 350 Km to Stuttgart/GER to try to also get a CAC in the Intermediateclass overthere. As said, as done. Booked the Hotels and wrote 3 pages of instructionsfor Harry. He had to stay home to take care of the dogs. Fridaynight at 18.00 hrs he arrived and I had to leave at 19.00 hrs to Luxemburg. I took „Jadore“ with me for Luxemburg and Hitchkock, our Bearded Collie male, for the show in Stuttgart. As happened so often, I didn’t sleep to well that night in the hotel. The alarm went off at 05.30, so there was enough time to let the dogs out, to make my self presentable and also pack the car. Around 07.30, the 3 of us where at the hall. Mr. Gellen from Hungary judged the 20 available Bobtails. Amongst them was the UK Topwinner. At 11.00 the van Bossche family, with “Justbecause aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” won the Intermediateclass and got the Res-CACIB above the dog from the Championsclass. That was already a sensation. Short time later I was in the ring with „Doro“ and was very happy with the winning in the Inbetweenclass combined with the CAC. After this we went for the prices to become Best Bitch. Mr Gellen had seen it very quickly and made „Doro“ (Jadore aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal) Best Bitch and also Best of Breed. She is just 15 months old. I was more than happy and very proud with our girl. But now I couldn’t depart for Stuttgart and had to wait because at 17.30 we where expected to be in the gig ring. Here, Mr. Deschuymere/B judged and the 2 of us ended amongst the last 8 in this so big group. En route to Stuttgart. On the way down in the Landau area there twice was a short lightflash, shi…. 22.30 arrival at the hotel. At 23.45 the lights went out because we had to be at the parking at 06.30, as the hal openend up at 07.00 and judging started at 09.00. Mr Urosevic from Serbia judged the 17 Bobtails and he was also convinced of „Jadore’s“qualities and also made her Best of Breed. „Hitchkock“also grabbed his points en we where satisfied. Although we had to wait until 17.30 to go into the big ring. Mr. Machetanz, liked „Doro“but not enough for a place on the podium and ended under the last 6. Doesn’t matter, we where tired and had to hit the road as 483 Km where ahead of us. At 23.00 we arrived in Maaseik. Monday, I was completely Knocked Out from the weekend and can’t still believe what happened.

Mr. Dankert was so kind to send the wonderful pictures from Stuttgart. Thank you Mr. Dankert.
