Doros puppies are born

Great joy yesterday. “Doro” (GB-Int-NL-B-LUX-D-VDH-Ch. European Ch. FCI, Europe -and Bundessiegerin, Winner Amsterdam & Brussels Jadore aus dem  Elbe-Urstromtal)has given birth.  She had a huge fat belly and moved only in the snail’s speed. No wonder! She had 10 puppies in her belly weighing between 410 and 500 grams. The first puppy was born at 11.15 and at 15.00, number 9. Then came a break of 3 hours, in which Doro had several times labor pain. I was actually clear, that is not good, but there was no chance to do anything. And so it was, this big male puppy  was born dead, unfortunately. Doro has born 7 males and 2 girls and I am happy that everything has gone so well. Now the sofa in the living-room is my sleeping-place and at some point I will feel like a zombie, lacking enough sleep.
