2 OES are no longer amongst us

Last week the Christ Family wrote us a note saying, that they had to let go  “Mara” (Y-KateMoss aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal) over the rainbowbridge. She was born on 27-08-1999 and was put down to sleep on 19-03-2012.

Following mail we received from the Christ Family,

Hello Mrs. Verelst-Loest,

Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to our “Mara”, last Monday 19-03-2012!!!! Our head says that we have done everything “GOOD” for her, but our hart still says something else. We would like to thank you, as the breeder, with all of our hart, because 12,5 years ago you gave us your Y’Kate Moss. That time we could not quite understand you, as you told us: ” You are not going to pick a puppy, I will do that for you, as I have learned to know the puppies beter over the past 8 weeks and would like to meet your family incl. the children!” And you where right! Because of your dog and people knowledge you picked 2 puppies for us, after which we decided us for Mara. This decision we have never regretted. For us she is unique and will always remain in our harts. We hope that you will continue your bobtailbreed for a long time and that, when the time is there, can knock at your door again!!!!

On that same day, also “Lara” (Ch. Boucheron aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal) has left us. She had liver cancer and healing was not possible for her. “Lara”  was born on 05-04-2012 and I have fortunated to bred some litters with her. Our “Jadore” and “Giv’m to me” are some of her her succesful children and grandchildren.
