Niki puppies, 2 weeks

Today, on Sunday, our puppies are already 2 weeks old. The photos were taken last Friday. This was not possible otherwise, due to the Easter holidays and the 2 days Show with Senta and Norman. Everything is OK. Niki is a very dear mother and loves to sleep long with her puppies in the whelping box. She starts to stay in the living room for longer periods.  Approximately every 3 to 4 hours, she goes to her 8 puppies. The eyes have been opened and they try to coordinate their four legs and walk. Furthermore they are sleeping alot. As soon as they are awake and have had someting to drink, they play very nice together. One then tries to “bite” the other one in the ear and in the legs. That’s just like in a movie and you can waste a lot of time watching. In the coming days I’m going to give them the first wurm cure and get them their first hot minced meat. Let’s see if they are clever enough and will eat it. We are still searching for names beginning with the letter “O”. Suggestions are always welcome.
