Finally puppies again from Ziva and Herci

It’s been more than a year since we had puppies. At the beginning of the year I had no puppies with  Ocean and Lilou. Sidney had a uterus infection…

Martina Weissman was convinced that her beautiful “Ziva” Multi Ch. Sexygirl aus dem  Elbe-Urstromtal should have puppies. She turned 4 years old in May and is almost considered an “old girl”. Actually, Ziva was expected to be in season in  April, but if you wait for it, the ladies often take a lot of time. “Ziva” came into seson in July and was ready to be bred, just as we had planned our precious 5 days of vacation. Martina Weissmann is a very, very sweet woman and was willing to fom the  Saarland/Germany to Venlo/NL. Inge is at home near Venlo and “Herci” (Ch. Airzeppeling Herculs Junior of Mat’n Nic) lives with her at the moment. Inge has a lot of experience with matings and everything went well with the mating  and our vacation . The ultasound was done at 4 weeks, puppies yes, but not many. Oh dear….. the waiting list has become long and longer in a year, 3 or 4 puppies are not enough. Nothing can be done, that’s just the way it is Mother Nature.

Ziva took a little vacation in Rosenheim and followed in the footsteps of “Rosenheim Cops”, the well-known ZDF crime series. On Thursday September 21st, 2023, Martina came with “Ziva” to inspect the “delivery room”.

The whelping box in our living  room was found to be good. On Saturday Martina drove home with our “Ocean” (as a replacement dog). “Ziva” has visited us many times and she knows everything here.

The first puppy was born on Wednesday morning around 5 a.m. 2 hours later number 4 was arrived. We have 3 boys and 1 girl. The birth weights were between 470 grams and 530 grams. “Ziva” is a wonderful mother dog. So careful and thoughtful. Everything is completely relaxed. We are really enjoying finally having puppies again.
