Zoe

International Hungarian, Austrian and Slovenian Champion

Quadriga aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal

27-04-2017  died of leptospirosis on 16-03-2022 in the University Clinic in Vienna

Ms. Laminger wrote this obituary for me about her beloved “Zoe”.

Dear Ms Loest,

You have no idea how much this letter hurts me, I just can’t understand it.

Actually, I wanted to surprise you, because a few days ago we received confirmation of the  “International Beauty Champion” for Zoe.

Shortly after I wrote to you about the 3rd Champion title, we registered in Komarom in Hungary for 3 days of shows

and Zoe also received the Hungarian Champion title. But I couldn’t be happy about it anymore.

I can’t tell you how great our loss is .

She was so full of life, uninhibited, always in a good mood and she literally forced her love on you.

You couldn’t sit on the sofa without her just sitting next to you without asking and licking your face.

When my cat sat next to me, it was also licked. She just loved everyone and everyone.

Although I was initially of the opinion that the dogs are not allowed on the sofa, but she managed to convince me of the opposite in a very short time with her charm.

Every visitor, including my parents, was warmly welcomed. We had to be careful that she didn’t push the visitors down the stairs with joy.

It’s so hard to describe such a wonderful dog in so few words.

I still have the imprint of her nose on my balcony door.

Zoe never wanted to stay in the garden for long, as soon as she saw us in the house she wanted to come straight to us.

She always loved being near us.

When I was cooking in the kitchen, I had to be careful not to climb on her right away, because she was always in the middle of the way and our cat was lying next to her.

He loved snuggling up close to Zoe.

Whenever possible we took them with us on excursions.

Again and again we were approached by strangers how beautiful our dog is and what breed it is.

Selfies and other photos were also taken with and by her.

She was such a beautiful dog with a beautiful, thick coat. Her showreports were always an “excellent” even though I wasn’t the best at brushing up.

I just can’t understand why she is no longer with us.

I can’t tell you how much we miss her.
