Xmashwish aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal 31-07-1998 – 06-04-2013
Today we received the sad message that “Emilie” has crossed the Rainbowbridge. She had had a wonderful life with the Family Limberg and I had the pleasure to breed a litter with her.
Ilona Limberg wrote the following:
Hallo Conny,
today, as promised the sad news……
After our last contact, “Emy”, for sure, has experienced about 4 more beautiful months. But during the last month she declined tremendously. She fastly became thinner and we had to help her more and more in getting up.
The past week, getting up was no longer possible without our help. Sometimes, after two minutes she already fall over.
Saturday she couldn’t even get into her favorite basket anymore. She just laid her front legs and head on the edge and looked at me……
Than we knew it was time to let her go and that is what we have done immediately on Saturday.
Now she sleeps in the back yard under a apple tree together with her mother and grandmother. I cannot write anyfurther because I am in tears!
We do miss our big one enormously, as with her also stops, after having had bobtails for so many years, an era.
