Socke puppies 2 weeks old

On Saturday, it was two weeks ago that our “Royal” puppies where born. They are developing extremely well. Saturday, they had their first worm cure and on Sunday, as reward, they had minced meat for the first time. This was gone in no time. Slowly the eyes are opening and I am curious to see, if we will have puppies with blue eyes. Father “Jarco” himself, has 2 blue eyes. Due to the fact that they eyes are just slightly open, it is difficult to see and recognize which color(s) it will become. Some of them are trying to stand and walk. Socke is still a very sweet and loving mother. In the mean time, I do not have to assist every time she goes in to the whelpingbox. She sits down and the puppies can reach the nipples very well.

Probably these two have been laying together too long and did the “paint” leak. I think this is funny and it really looks if the black piece of coat, in the neck with the puppy on the right, in fact should have been on the white spot of the one on the left.

Unfortunately is the “paint dry”  🙂
