Peter and Heidi rock Switzerland

Our dear Bearded Collie friends Simone and Andreas Schmidt live in Switzerland. They looked after “Caro” for 2 months when I got my new knee.

Now they have discovered that we have kept “Peter” and “Heidi”. They thought that if you have these names, you have to come to Switzerland to walk in the footsteps of the famous 1955 mountain film drama “Peter and Heidi”. After much deliberation, we decided that Simone and Andreas were right and the two of them had to go to Heidi and Peter Land.

Every day I receive marvellous photos and reports of what the two of them are experiencing. Their own Bearded Collie dog “Cooper” was not at all happy that his peace and quiet was being disturbed by these two rockers.

“Heidi” is very much in love with “Cooper” and he likes that.

August 1st is the Swiss bank holidays, reason enough for a dinner special ala Suiss
