On the 18th September a CC show took place in Darlington / GB. Mr Peter Bailey judged the OES and “Martha” was Best Puppy again and took 2nd place in group 1 in the Puppy class. Fantastic! Family Colin and Pauline Barnes took 2nd place with their “Magnus” On Special Request aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal“.

My miniscus operation was exactly 10 days before the 2 day show in Maastricht. I had registered “Norman” since he was now old enough to complete his Dutch title and his international title. I went to physiotherapy every day and three times daily I had ice packs on the knee in the hope that I could show “Norman” myself. What did not go well at all was driving or pulling a heavy cage, which one has to drag at the show. Thanks to my dear helpers I was able to go to Maastricht/NL. On the first day, Mr. R. Douma / NL was the judge. “Norman” won best male with CACIB and CAC and had thus reached his 2 titles. Nicole Neiken started there with “Ostwind” and won RES best Bitch in the youth class.

After the first day, my knee needed some cool ice packs. “Norman”did not needed anything on the second day, unless I wanted to win the Benelux title in the Netherlands. I wanted to get the title for “Noman” as wel,l. On this day the icepads were in the cooler bag …..
The knee was fine and Norman won Best of breed with the judge Mrs. L. Mouchard / NL and came in the last 6 in the honorary ring. “Ostwind” brought back her youth CAC.
