Mail from Bumper (Aarbei aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal) 11 years old

Hi-de-hi Conny,

Here a short letter from a high aged puppy child of yours. A Dime daughter. In the mean time this Lady is almost 11 years old.

And, all is well with her. Sometimes people say, there’s is no fool like an old fool. Well that goes for Bumber (Aardbei aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal) as well.

I thought that I could never ever love another dog as our Kim in those days, but Bumper was from a compleet different calibre.

So steady, quiet and friendly. Last year our oldest son had to undergo a heavy operation and Bumper has pulled him (and us) literally thru the difficulties.

But also for our youngest she is a great support.

Last year, when we just had returned from hospital, she became very ill and had to be operated immediately and came through very well. The vet could not believe that she had already been 10 years old.
