Läwe Schäng one week old

The day after Pentecost, “Bandita”has had her baby. On the X-Ray 2 to 3 puppies where seen. Therefore, I waited patiently on the birth of the two after the first one was born, who by the way weighed 640 gram. But nothing happened. Our veterinarian, Liesbeth Vanholen, came with her mobile X-Ray machine and felt and sought. But Bandita’s belly was empty. Now the little one has to grow up all by himself.

His name will be called “Läwe Schäng” . This is Öcher Platt (read: the dialect spoken in the Aachen – Germany region). He will also grow up in the region of Aachen.

Speaking about a little male is a mistake. He has, today, one week after birth, more than doubled his weight. Today he weighed 1440 gram!!!! I think that this is a worldrecord for a Bobtail Puppy.

The only stress he has, is that he has to make a decision which nipple to use. Bandita has no problems with this and takes care of her puppy in a splendid way. As usual.
