Europasieger-Show and Nat-Show in Dortmund 12/13-5-12

Dortmund in Mai is pure stress. In fact the show was planned to be held on 05 and 06 Mai, but the German Foorballclub Borussia Dortmund was 99,9% sure theat they would become the new German Champion and that the Championsparty had te be held on that weekend. Therefore the Dogshow was moved with one week further and alot of judges had to be changed. Also not very positiv, because the next weekend is the World Show in Salzburg/Austria. The “driving crowd” of hardcore show-offs where already en-route with there compleet homes. I myself will fly on Fridaymorning……

We had decided to only show Bobtails, to avoid the stress with 2 breeds at simultaneous times at the same day with different judges. On Saturday the Bobtails started at 09.00 hrs. That means arriving at the Hall at  07.00. Mr. Theo Leenen from Belgium was the replacement for Mr. Kliebenstein. 22 Bobtails were entered and we where satisfied with the result. But not really, because the dot on the “i”, read Best of Breed was not given to Doro. We where not really disappointed. “Kingsize aus dem Elbe-urstromtal” won the In Between Class and received the Res-CACIB. Due to the fact the the winning male was already Int. Champion, is the demand on the Title within handreach. “Jadore aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” started for the first time in the Champion Class, which she won, made Best Bitch and became Europasiegerin. The van Bossche Family with “Justbecause aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” started in the Open Class and won.

During the second day it was more quiet. The judging at the Nat. Show started around 12.00 Hrs. Mrs. Christina Bailey (Zottels) had the honour to act as a Judge this day and could also give an english CC. She had to judge 32 OES. OUr both dogs this day where entered in the In Between Class and both won their Class. No more and no less. Kingsize had the same dogs in his class as the day before and the judging was the same. “Jadore” had two competitors.
