Clubshow Belgian OES Club and Kaltenkirchen/GER

The Belgian OES Club had organized their yearly Club Show in the area of Mechelen, in Zemst-Elewijt. It was a complete outdoor show in front of a small castle. As judge, Mrs. P. Barnes from the UK was asked for this show. She is the breeder of Macopa OES. Because of the fact that her husband had given a CC to my Jadore last December in England, we didn’t want to Show “Doro” in order to give others a chance. The Belgian OES Club is a small Club organized by just a handful of people and that is perfect. I had decided to go to Krefeld/GER to show the Beardies. However, in order to support the Club, I wanted to enter a dog. All of a sudden you are than asking yourself why not showing?! And more important: Who has to show? Harry, my loving husband, was spoiled for days in a row with nice food, was allowed to lay on the couch, until he started to suspect what I wanted to achieve!!! He had to show our “Nicki”. Of course he was asked very friendly, if he wanted to do this. Harry had taken over a Beardie every now and than for the BOB, but an OES he had never even shown. Harry had no objections in doing this, so during the several weekends we practiced with Nicki here at the house. Last Sunday morning he took of, with a tent, because it was an outdoor show, a bag full of items to style Nicki, sandwiches and of course Nicki” (Aryakas Niki Elbe-Urstromtal). On forehand I had asked Wim Huyskens, if he could help Harry with the styling and this was no problem. Harry took a fancy and lots of fans, wanted to see how the man on my side, would handle an OES. He did perfectly and it rained compliments. YES, I am proud on Harry and Nicki, both are where a wonderful team. NO! It is not possible to have your dog(s) shown/handled by Harry :-).

Johny Kiefer, doesn’t need any help, he is showing since years. He won the Intermediate Class males, with Maryse Cornelis’ her 20 months old Ch. Keen on you aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal.

High up in the Northern part of Germany, the Vanbossche family visited the Special Club Show in Kaltenkirchen. Here a Serb, Mr. Z. Todorovovic judged the OES. And because everything had gone so well the weekend before, “Floh” decided to do the same thing again: Best Of Breed.
