Exhibitions July 2024

“Winnetou aus dem  Elbe-Urstromtal” has no summer break. He was with his owner Chris van Beirendonk at the special show of the KC den Kempen. Mr G. Jipping/Nl gave him Best Junior and BOB. On Saturday, 13.7.2024 at the Int-Show in Herve/Belgium, he also won Best Junior under the judge Mr D. Spruyt/BEL. Unfortunately there are no photos

His sister ‘West Side Story aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’ was also busy at shows. Mrs Martina Weissmann does not take a summer break. On 7.7.2024 at the special show in Speisen/GER ‘Tilly’ became Best Junior with J-CAC under the judge Mr Häberli/CH

On 13 and 14 July at the special show in Wirges/Germany Mrs Mc Nally from Ireland judged on Saturday and Mrs P. Demsy from Ireland judged on Sunday. On the first day ‘Tilly’ won 3rd place and on Sunday 2nd place. She was the youngest of the 4 bitches in the junior class and the smallest.

The German Winner Show in Gelsenkirchen is one of the 3 largest title shows in Germany. Always outside on the greyhound racing track. In the last 3 years our Bobtails have ALWAYS won Best of Breed there: 2021 “Seejungfrau aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” (at that time without ring of honour because of Corona). 2022 Best of Breed and 2nd in the group behind our Bearded Collie Ch. Firstprizebears Pikes Peak” was Multi Ch. “Rock me Amadeus aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal”, 2023 Best of Breed “Ch. Uschi Glas aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” among the last 6 of group 1.

So we travelled to Gelsenkirchen on Sunday 28 July 2024 with our “Caro” hoping for a 4th time. 10 bobtails (2 males and 8 females) were registered for the German speciality judge Mrs S. Langhorst. The weather should remain stable and so it was, even with a lot of sun.

It was a perfect day!

The junior class was won by “West Side Story aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” from Martina Weissmann and completed her German Junior Champion on this day and Best Junior.

Gerda Jolink was with Multi Ch. ” Ultra Chic aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” in the champion class Excellent 1 with CAC

then came “CARO” with her 23 months and already 2 champion titles.

The Bearded Collie Multi Ch. Firstprizebears Pikes Peak” bred by us and owned by Monika Fuss won Best of Breed in the Veteran Class. Later he became Best in Show Veteran.

It was 10.15 a.m. and now the long wait began, but it was rewarded. J. Wauben from the Netherlands was very enthusiastic about our “Caro” and gave her 1st place in the large Group 1, which was filled with around 40 dogs. We were overjoyed.
