Exhibitions in May 2023

On the weekend of May 6th and 7th, 2023, a double CACIB show took place in beautiful Gent/BEL. Martina Weissman makes the long journey from beautiful Ottweiler in Saarland. She chose me as her travel companion and we two had a lot of fun.

In addition, “Ziva” was extremely successful.

Ch. “Sexygirl aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” won CACIB, CAC and Best of Breed on both days. With the CACIB she now has the title of International Champion. The judge on Saturday was the Spaniard Mr. A. Castells Lladosa and on Sunday the German Mr. U. Nölke

In the ring of honor in group 1, judged by Mr. Nölke on Saturday and by the Irishman Mr. S. Rooney on Sunday, “Ziva” made it into the last 6 in the big group

The Prime Minister of Belgium, Mr De Croo, visited the exhibition with his son on Saturday. A nice gesture to support the pedigree dogs

On Saturday evening, Martina and I drank a few cocktails to “Ziva” in the sky lounge/hotel bar of our hotel.

On May 14th, 2023, as always, the big European champion show took place in Dortmund/GER. We drove to this event very sadly this Sunday. On Saturday morning we had to put our 12 years, 10 months and 13 days old “Doro” (Multi Ch. Jadore aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal) to sleep. She had a torsion in her stomach and we didn’t want to put her through the big operation anymore. We miss our old lady so much.

“Uschi” is the granddaughter of our “Doro” and that’s why we dedicated her great victory on Sunday to “Doro”.

Europasiegerin 2023 and Best of Breed “Uschi Glas aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” judge was Mrs. R. Kazlauskaite from Lithuania. “Uschi” is 22 months old

Angelika Bardelli came from Switzerland with her beautiful “Verliebt aus dem  Elbe Urstromtal”. Just 10 months old. Unfortunately there was only a 3rd place for both.

On Monday our “Uschi” is our normal family dog ​​again

Multi Ch. Seepferden aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” owned by Amilia Helin from Sweden was in Herning/DK for 3 days. A special show took place there on Friday on the occasion of the European Show. The judge was Mrs. B. Schjoth/DK. “Rolfi” became 2nd Best Male of the more than 33 registered OES. At the European Show the Frenchman Mr. C. Jouanchiat judged , where he was only 3rd.

On Sunday at the AGRIA Winner, also in Herning/DK, the well-known Danish all-rounder Mr. G. Nymann judged. He knows what quality is and “Ch. Seepferdchen aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” won Best Male with CACIB, CAC and title AGRIA Winner.

On Sunday the annual club match of the Dutch OES Club took place in Kerkdriel/NL. I haven’t exhibited there for many years. Board policy has always been make sure I don’t win. My dogs won EVERYTHING in the Netherlands except the club match. This club is a joke!

This year the English woman Mrs. Helen Woods had been invited. She currently has a “Vigilats” male from the Netherlands to show. Her reputation preceded her for doing what she wants. That’s why I advised Gerd Derksen to show their “Ultrachic aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” there. That was good advice!!!

“NL-JCh. Ultachic aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” won the intermediate class and became Res- Best Bitch.

The Frenchman C. Ritter judged at the special exhibition of the club for British herding dogs in Waghäusel/GER. He once bred bobtails himself.

“Verliebt aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” won the youth class  and became Best Junior. With that she achieved the title of German Junior Champion.

“Luana” then won Best Junior in Show under the judge Mr. M. Krinke/CZ

We went to the EURO OES show in France at Pentecost. But Gerda Derksen showed with her “Ultrachic aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” at the exhibition in Wieze/B and on Sunday 28.5. 2023 in Arnhem/Nl  and worthily represented our kennel.

In Wieze/Belgium the Spaniard F. Ruiz Rodriguez judged CACIB, CAC and BOS for “Ziva”

BOB was Peggy met “Ch. Macoes Kentucky”

In Arnhem/NL Mrs. Erika Bakker/NL judged and “Ziva” won the intermediate class and received the CACIB, Res-CAC

Take a vacation down south in May and come home  with a new champion. “Take That aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” owned by Claudia Regenhardt is champion number 169.
