Exhibitions in June 2025

It is an exhibition marathon in June and July. On 1-6-2025, the Championship Clubmatch of the 1st Dutch OES Club took place. this report is  in May 2025.

On Thursday 5-6-2025 I travelled with Chris van Beirendonk to Denmark for the famous Euro OES Show. We returned on Whit Monday. There is an extra report on this.

I sent our Martina Weissmann to the CACIB Whitsun show in Gorinchem/NL. There the well-known breeder of Welsh Corgies Pembroke Mrs R. Dijkhorst -Nooij/NL judged.

Only 3 OES were entered, I think all the others were at the Euro Show. 1 male and 2 females. ‘Ch. West Side Story aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’ was the youngest with her 19 months and won the CACIB, CAC and became Best of Breed. In the ring of honour she was still among the last 6 dogs with the judge Mrs Dijhorst, who also judged Group 1.

On 15.6.2026 Mrs Laminger exhibited at the British Herding Dog Show in Styria/Austria. Mrs E. Stoltez/A, awarded Best of Breed to ‘ Vivian Westwood aus dem  Elbe-Urstromtal’ here too we congratulate her warmly.

On Saturday 14 June 2025 the British Herding Dog Show with the Aussies took place in Weisswampach/Luxembourg. Mrs Ruth Wagner judged the OES. Chris van Beirendonk won best of breed with ‘ Winnetou aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’. With this 2x CAC he has now fulfilled the conditions for the Luxembourg Champion. He is the 180th champion from my kennel.

Best female and also new Luxembourg Champion was Martina Weissmann with Ch. ‘ West Side Story aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’. She is the litter sister of Winnetou.

To crown it all, ‘ Winnetou’ won BEST IN SHOW

On Sunday 15.6.2025 we started with Peter and Heidi to this 2nd show in Weisswampach. Both dogs were 15 months old on this day and could compete in the intermediate class. The judge was Mrs C. Dunne from Ireland

‘Peter’ became Best of Breed, ‘X’Texas El Paso aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’ with CAC and his sister “Heidi” became Best Bitch ‘X’Texas Amarillo aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’.

“Ch. West Side Story aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” was  Res- Best female behind “Heidi”

The brilliant conclusion of this successful day was the BEST IN SHOW for our ‘Peter’, Mrs Dunne was very enthusiastic about him.

Today on 28.6.2026 our Martina was in Dachau/GER for the special breed show. Judge was Heidi Müller/GER and there was Best of Breed for ‘Ch. West Side Story aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’

On 22 June 2026 ‘ Wanted You aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’ was shown for the first time at a show in Sandstedt/GER. His proud owner Dr Gesa Milde has had our ‘ Floris’ with her for a year now. Now they had their first coming out. The judge was Mr M. Koot from the Netherlands.

On the weekend 20 to 22 June 2026 there was a show marathon in Postojna/Slovenia. Judges were Mr R. Rajic/SER, Mr Wu from Canada and Mrs Melchior from Luxembourg

Mrs Bardelli had entered her 15-month-old ‘X’Lonestar aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’ at all 3 shows. The result: 3x Best of Breed, 2x CACIB, 3rd CAC and thus the title: Slovenian Champion! This is the 31st champion for her father the famous ‘Eldorado’ who died many years ago. For her mother ‘ Uschi’ it is the first Champion child.

She is our champion number 181

I think we are really proud of our offspring and our exhibitors.

We were at the national show in Eindhoven on 22 June 2025. Judging started at 8 o’clock in the morning and the honouring took place around 12 o’clock. It was 30 degrees then. But it was still bearable for humans and animals.

Mrs C. Rooney from Ireland gave ‘X’Texas El Paso aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’ the CAC, Best Male and Best of Breed was our “Caro” Ch. ‘Vorbildlich aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’.

Mrs R. Lochs from the Netherlands judged Group 1 and although Caro had to pee again in the first round, she was selected as one of the last 6. In this final round, ‘Caro’ once again decided that it is also very nice to put her pile in the ring of honour in front of a large audience.

Oh man I am ashamed !!! Of course she is walked beforehand so that she can do her business. Nevertheless, she always likes to pick something up and put it in the ring of honour.

Nevertheless, she came 2nd in group 1

The last weekend in June was a very full showweekend! It was really hot everywhere!!!! But that doesn’t really stop the ‘addicted’ exhibitor and the dogs can take it all in their stride.

Gesa Milde was at the double speciality show in Loxstedt/GER. On the first day with the Dane Mr Mortensen, the displeasure about the strange judging was still limited. This was completely different on the second day with the Irishman Mr Rooney.

For many exhibitors, this takes the fun out of entering such shows. There were complaints about the judging everywhere.

No matter. ‘ Wanted you aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’ received the CAC on both days and was Best Male on day 1

‘X’Texas Lonestar aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’ was in Aarau/CH. On Saturday with one show and on Sunday with 2 shows, that gave 3x CAC and 1st Res-CACIB at the different judges. Also a new title ‘ Swiss Show Champion’. Congratulations Angelika Bardelli

We were exhibiting around the corner, just 29 kilometres from home in  Genk/BEL. Mrs Brankovic from Serbia was judging. It should be a good day.

To our great joy ‘Peter’ became 2nd best in group 1, judge was the Croate Mr I. Selimovic. He gave ‘Peter’s’ father the famous ‘Eldorado aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’ the BEST in Show in Charleroi/BEL in 2007.
