Champion Number 182  is made up in our galery.
Norwegian Champion ” Von und zu Aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” Owner Mr. U. Andersson/S
sire is Multi Ch. rock me Amadeus aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal. This is his 17th Championchild
Dam:Ch. Rote Rose aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal, her 3rd championchild out of 2 small litters

We have a new champion number 183 in our long and successful gallery of champions. At the exhibition in Ludwigshafen/GER on Saturday, 16 August 2025, Ms H. Bilsheim/GER judged our breed. Gesa Milde won Best Male with her ‘Floris’, now VDH Champion ‘Wanted You aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’. Congratulations Gesa, well done. This is the second champion offspring of Ch. ‘Udo Jürgens aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’ and the fourth for our “Lilou” Multi Ch. ‘Seejungfrau aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’.
His litter sister, ‘Ch. White Socks aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal,’ is causing a sensation in Costa Rica. She is currently ranked first in Group 1. Her owner is Ms. S. Gonzales Aparicio.

On 17 August 2025, the annual CAC Show took place near Rotterdam. Two males and three females, including one champion male and two champion females, were registered for Ms D. Klein from Romania. She was very friendly and extremely kind to the dogs.
Best of breed was ‘Tilly’, aka ‘Ch. West Side Story aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’, 22 months old and owned by Martina Weissmann.
Later in the ring of honour, she was placed among the last six dogs in Group 1, judged by Ms Pogesi from Italy.

Afterwards, there was a very nice little buffet, which almost all OES exhibitors attended. That’s what makes exhibiting so enjoyable.

I had registered ‘Peter’ and ‘Heidi’ a long time ago for an Italian judge at the International Show in Mechelen (this show had been held there since time immemorial, but now it is held in Putte, nearby in a new hall) on Saturday, 23 August 2025. However, I had completely forgotten about it. At some point, I saw that there had been a change of judge, and now the Belgian all-rounder Mr Vanaken was judging. In addition, only three OES were registered, a male/female in the intermediate class and a champion male, which was ‘Winnetou’. Chris, his owner and I were wondering who the two dogs in the intermediate class could be… until I looked at my registrations on Onlinedogshows and realised that it was me with Peter and Heidi who were registered. Actually, I didn’t feel like going at all, but then I let myself be persuaded after a champion bitch was registered at the last minute. However, we only took ‘Heidi’ with us and left ‘Peter’ at home.

Best of breed was ‘Winnetou aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’ owned by Chris van Beirendonk and best bitch was ‘X’Texas Amarillo aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal’.

Two-day international show in Luxembourg on 30 and 31 August 2025. Fourteen OES were registered on Saturday and thirteen on Sunday. Peter, Heidi and Caro (on Saturday) were in attendance. It’s a lot of work and stress that I put myself through. ‘Caro’ didn’t need anything else on Saturday, but the group judge for Group 1 was supposed to like “Caro” very much, and so was the BIS judge. The breed judge was Mr Jouanchicot from France, who gave our ‘Caro’ BOB in Leeuwarden in November 2024, after which she won the group at this big show. But it didn’t work out and I was really angry. Also because he thought our ‘Heidi’ was so great and I was supposed to take her over her from Martina Weissmann in the challenge for CACIB , who stepped in to help because I was also in the ring with Caro. Then he gave ‘Caro’ Best Female and made the huge bitch from the champion class Res-Bitch. Please, do I have to understand this?

I think the photo of ‘Caro’ Multi Ch. Vorbildlich aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” with the Res. Bitch Ch. ‘Sealords it has to be you’ speaks for itself:

‘Peter’ was Reserve Best Male behind ‘Love’n Stuff all American Snowbootbear’. He won the CAC in the intermediate class, thereby fulfilling all the requirements to become Luxembourg Champion. He is number 184 in our gallery of champions. His litter sister ‘Heidi’ followed suit and also became Luxembourg Champion on the same day. Number 185

Best Male ‘Love ‘N Stuff All American Snowbootbear’ and Reserve Male “Peter” X’Texas El Paso aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal

Our three wonderful dogs, who of course stayed with us at the hotel. A fellow German exhibitor was concerned that our dogs would have to sleep in the car…

Heidi, Caro and Peter

On Sunday, Mr Jos de Cuypers from Belgium was judging. I didn’t actually want to exhibit with him anymore, but…

‘Peter’ was Best of Breed, Heidi won the CACIB but was not named Best Female, which he awarded to the junior class female who regularly receives a ‘very good’ rating in Germany. In the end, he didn’t dare to give both titles to our dogs. It’s a shame, really. Most of the exhibitors were left feeling very surprised.

Although we should have been satisfied, I wasn’t during those two days. Judges do very strange things.

‘Peter’ was among the last six in Group 1 in the ring of honour, and the judge was Mr Karcher from France.
