Exhibitions April 2023

April has just begun and there is already a lot of news.

On April 1st and 2nd the double CACIB show took place in Luxemburg. On Saturday the Croatian judges Mr. Spoljaric. He judged in Genk/Belgium on January 8th, 2023. I have written extensively about this. Hard to believe that I was so stupid to register under him again…..

On the 2nd day also a Croat judged, Mrs. J. Matejeci, she herself bred Bobtails under the kennel name “Dilemma”.

It was a VERY rainy weekend. A challenge with 2 bobtails, named Cloe and Uschi, who had to stay dry and clean.

I was traveling with my dear Kinga and Paul had the management at home with a long list of things that had to be done….. 🙂

We left Maaseik on time on Friday and were in our beautiful hotel on the Kirchberg in Luxembourg around noon. The rain couldn’t stop us from going shopping in the center. Of course we enjoyed the delicacies in the LADUREEE restaurant with its famous macarons.

The next day, our dogs were not judged until 2 p.m. That’s why we didn’t go to the exhibition until around 10:30 a.m.

“Unisono aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal”, owner King Kolscar was alone in the intermediate class on both days. Our dear Chris Beirendonk was so kind and showed “Cloe” for us. “Cloe” got the CAC on both days and is now “Luxembourg Champion”. The number 168 in our scale of success.

“Uschi Glas aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” was 2nd behind the bitch, for which the owner once again made the long journey from Ireland for this judge. We all knew that she would win with her two bitches. That’s how it happened. Losing at a show is one thing, but winning organized is just hard to take.

The judge gave “Uschi” the Res-CACIB. He could have  given it to the champion bitch from the Irish, this would have been much better! It would have been so clearer.

Open class bitch: 1. Ormecka Riot Girl, 2. our beautiful Uschi with neck and angulations and a head that fits the body. 3. Mac Garit’s Amelie

On the 2nd day we were judged at around 12 noon and were there around 9.30 am.

“Uschi and Cloe” were ready to go into the ring

The judge Mrs. J. Matejeci from the 2nd day is a breed specialist, because she bred the OES, she knew what is written in  the breedstandard and did not allow herself to be influenced.

“Uschi Glas aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” became Best Bitch with CACIB and CAC

it was very difficult to take photos as we were all in the ring at the same time. Therefore there is little photographic material. We received a few photos from Mrs. Bechberger on the first day. Thanks for that.

On 2-4-2023 a CACIB show took place in beautiful Salzburg/Austria. Unfortunately only 2 OES were registered because of the very difficult exhibition regulations. Judge was  the Belgian Mr. Devriendt. A male in the champion class from Germany “Pitt von der Müggelspree” and in the youth class Mrs. Laminger with her 12 month old “Vivian Westwood aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal”. She won Best of Breed, sooooo well done. Congratulations to the Laminger family.

Only one week later on Easter Sunday the CAC Show took place in Goes/NL. 3 OES were registered. 2x Chris Beirendonk with intermediate class males and “Coopers” daughter in junior class. Gerda Jolink entered her  just 18 months old  “Ultra Chic aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” in the intermediate class . The judge was Mr Beare, an Irishman

On Wednesday “Ziva” was still in the beauty salon in Maaseik

The crowning glory of the Easter exhibition was made by our dear Dr. Ivan Durotrovic with his “Emma”

“Ch. Tak Amilia aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” won Best of Breed at the CAC Show in Gazin Han in Serbia, judge Dr. Koban Kostic/SER

Best of group 1 and 3. Best in Show under the judge Mr. Dragan Janjic/SER

BOB                                                                                                           BIG 1

Best in Show no 3

“Fritzi” lives with Georgina Jensen in San Francisco/USA. Of course  has “Fritzi” a beautiful tail. However, this is a big scandal in the USA, because they don’t want the OES to be exhibited with a tail. Georgina doesn’t care at all and now she has exhibited “Underpressure aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” for the first time in Vallejo/USA. With a handler, of course, and the judges also judged “Fritzi” on both days. The first of 15 points is won. But there will be a revolution and it will be very difficult to win.

Gerda Jolink was with her “Ziva” at the international exhibition on April 22nd, 2023 in Lingen/Germany. The judge was the breed specialist Ms. Heidi Müller/GER from the “Wild Frisian” OES.

Ultra Chic aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” won CACIB, CAC and Best of Breed.

just one week later there was also an int-show on 30-4-2023 in Hertogenbosch/NL. The judge was Mrs. Van Veen from the Netherlands.

CACIB, CAC and Best Female for “Ultra Chic aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal, BOB was Chris Beirendonk with “Louike”

all of a sudden I get emails about successes that I didn’t even know about until now. Angelika Bardelli lives in Switzerland and has had dogs from me for ages. After many years she got another great bitch from me, the “Verliebt aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal”.

She was at the CAC/CACIB in Barje/Slovenia with her “Luana” from April 7th to April 9th, 2023. On all 3 days she won Best Young Dog and got the Youth CAC at the age of 9 months.

the first youth title is won: Slovenian youth champion  “Verliebt aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal”

Last weekend in April, Angelika started the long journey from Switzerland to Berlin. There was a CAC show organised by the British sheepdog Club on Saturday. There were 3 males and 10 females at the start. 4 of them were in junior class and “Luana” was by far the youngest.

The judge was the well-known Danish all-rounder Mr. Hindse. He was enthusiastic about “Luana” and she won the youth class and became BEST BITCH. Photo with thanks to Mr. Zink and Holger Silberhorn.

On May 1st, 2023 there was the Club Winner Show of the British Shepherd Dogs. The same dogs were entered, this time judged by the Tsechin Mrs. L. Klimova. “Luana” won again, the junior class and is now Club Junior Winner. Unfortunately I don’t have a photo.
