Exhibitions in May 2024

May is actually far too busy with exhibitions, but if you have dogs that you like to show in competition, then the nights on exhibition days are very short. Being back home late in the evening is a “punishment” for winning everything. This is whining at a high level

On May 9th, Ascension Day, the Joe Kat Show takes place every two years on the grounds of the Arnhem/NL Cynology Club. Ms. Marion Ten Cate from the Netherlands judges the 10 registered OES, including 1 champion male and 2 champion females.

The star of the day was “Skipper”  he won Best of Breed. Ms. Ten Cate wrote on Facebook afterwards that it had been a long time since she had judged bobtails of such high quality.

Gerda Jolink was with “Ch. Ultra Chic aus dem  Elbe-Urstrotmal”, she won the champion class and became Res-Best Female

At the end of the long day at 5 p.m., Best in Show was judged by Ms. Ricki Lochs/NL.

“Skipper” was 3rd Best in Show.

On Sunday May 12th, 2024 we went to the National Show in Goes in Zeeland/NL. The Irishman Mr Simon Rooney judges the only 6 registered OES, 2 males and 4 girls.

With wonderful sunshine and high temperatures it is bearable. However, if you are judged at 11 a.m. and then have to wait until 4:30 p.m. for the Ring of Honor, it’s almost too long a day.

Mr. Rooney judged Group 1 and “Skipper” took 2nd place. A perfect day

Chris van Beirendonk was with her “Winnetou aus dem  Elbe-Urstromtal” on Thursday in France at the exhibition of the French Bobtail Club. The judge was Ms. Malacrida from Italy, breeder of Nobilpazzi OES. “Winnetou” won Best Baby, he is 7.5 months old.

Ms. Bardelli showed her beautiful young “Ch. Verliebt aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” in the intermediate class there. Unfortunately, the judge could not recognize her qualities. There was a 3rd place out of 4 bitches in the intermediate class.

On Saturday, May 11th, 2028 and Sunday, May 12th, 2024, a double CACIB show took place in Ghent/Belgium. On Saturday Chris van Beirendonk exhibited her “Winntou aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” very successfully. He was named Best Baby by the judge Mr. Dupas. In the honoring he was Res- Best in Show of the babies of all breeds. The judge was Ms. I. Hectors/Belgium

His mother “Ch. Sexygirl aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” owner M. Weissmann was exhibited on both days. The judge Mr. Dupas/F. rated with Excellent 1, Res-CACIB, Res-CAC and on Sunday Ms. R. Wagner/LUX with Excellent 1.

“Winntou” had a family reunion on Saturday, not only his mother “Ch. Sexygirl aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” was exhibited, his father Ch. “Airzeppeline Hercules Junior of Mat’n Nic” owner Kanales/Autolitano, van Engelen, was also shown and became Res- Best Male.

Mamm, Winnetou and Papa

“Winnetou’s” litter brother “Wild West aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” owned by the Laminger family from Austria was also successfully exhibited in Slovenia/Maribor.

His “big sister” the “Vivian Westwood aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” was also successful, 2x CAC and 1x Res-CACIB

Gerda Jolink represented us worthy, while Chris van Beirendonk and I were in Finland at the EURO OES Show. At the Whitsun exhibition in Gorinchem/NL her “Ch. Ultrachic aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” became best of the breed. The judge was the Irishman Mr Muldoon

On May 24th, 2024, Gerda traveled to Ronneby in Sweden. There she won the title of Swedish Champion for “Ziva”, with Best of Breed and CACIB. The judge was the Norwegian Ms. M. Homli. A day later, also in Ronneby, Ch. Ultrachic from the Elbe-Urstromtal” came 2nd with Res-CACIB, the judge was Ms. C. Hoier from Denmark

We were at the big European winner exhibition in Dortmund on Friday May 24th, 2024. The OES were judged by Mr. R. Blessing/GER.

Our “CARO” became the best of the breed in the intermediate class and can now bear the title “European Champion 2024”.

The best male was the only registered male from Monica Rigoldi from Italy “Whimzy Hunka Burning’love at Dolcevita”

In the ring of honor in the large group 1, our young “Caro” took 3rd place. The judge was Mr. Milan Krinke/CZ. What a great day

On Saturday May 25th, 2024, Mr. Lepasaar from Estonia judged the OES. Here too, our “CARO” was able to convince and became best of the breed with CACIB, CAC and the titel: spring winner 2024
