11 puppies born on Easter Saturday

“Pebbles” (Flashlight aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal) had her 58st day of her pregnancy and was in fact not very thick. One week ago, according to her veterinarian, 7 puppies had been seen on the X-Ray…… there where 11. On Easter Saturday, she delivered 11 puppies within a 6 hour timeframe, 7 males and 4 bitches. All different in weight, the heaviest one weighed 450 gr. and the smallest had 230 gr., but very alive and kicking. Pebbles is a sportive mother and turns herself about 20 time per hour in the whelping box. For a breeder this is super, because all puppies will start movning and yelling, also 20 time per hour and also during the NIGHT!!!!, But who calles the ghosts….. Today on Easter Monday, she only turns herself 15 times per hour and as far as the weights of the puppies concerns, they all increased and we are tired, more tired and exceptionally tired.
