Champions
Over the past 50 years, under the affix aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal, we have bred many beautiful Old English Sheepdogs, many of whom have become famous show dogs. Additionally, we were at the top for over 30 years with our Bearded Collies, bred under the prefix Firstprizebears.
This photo, taken in Almkerk, Netherlands, in 1993, shows the Bearded Collie males Ch. Shilstone Diplomat and Ch. Shilstone Choir Boy, together with the Old English Sheepdog females Ch. Uniclever and Utopia aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal.
In 1976, Brown Eyes aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal became our first Elbe-Urstromtal champion. Over the many years since, 176 OES champions have represented us worldwide, and above all, they have done so with great value and success.

In 1973, I started my kennel in Germany with my first female dog, Cora vom Glinder Berg. In the years that followed, I imported dogs from other countries to introduce new bloodlines. 9 purchased Old English Sheepdogs have been made champions by me.
