Europasieger-Show Dortmund in Mai 2016

The European Champion Show in Dortmund in May is a traditional yearly show. 5000 dogs in 3 days and additionally there is the International Show. This takes place simultaneously and has 3000 dogs in 3 days.

Chris Beierendonk with “Nadeza” and myself with “Norman” and “Senta” were at the show and had great success. The European Champion show was on Friday and the International on Saturday. Chris and I have simply become too comfortable and now know to appreciate the advantage of a hotel, so we arrived early on Thursday evening and stayed until Saturday.

Friday morning at 9 am, the Dutchman John Wauben began the judging of the 23 OES’s at 11.30. We were more than happy with the following results.

Best of Breed, European winner “Norman Harrison aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal”. “Norman” was in the ring of honour on both days and was among the best 6 dogs of group 1 with Mr. Wauben and Mr. Dux.

Res-Best Male: “Van Bossches” again from the “Elbe-Urstromtal”

Best Bitch, European Winner “No Limits aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal”

Chris with “Nice Lady Nadeza of Snow Boot Bears” won the intermediate class

On Saturday we were able to stay in bed for longer and relax, as we didn’t have to be in the hall until about 10 o’clock. This was because the judging began at 11.30. Mr. Peter Machetanz had  24 OES’s to judge.

“Norman” again won Best Male and Dorotas and Pavel “Macoes Aspen” the son of the famous “Kassenknüller aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” won Best Male of the intermediate class.

Nicole Neicken was successful in the puppy class with “Ostwind aus dem Elbe-Urstromtal” and won Best Puppy in Class.

Then “Senta” won the open class, but Mr Machetanz’s courage obviously failed, as he didn’t let me win the second time! Here is the picture of Senta with the winning bitch from intermediate class.
